Interim Superintendent

The Governor Wentworth Regional School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Laliberte as Interim Superintendent of Schools for a one-year term beginning July 1, 2026.

Mr. Laliberte brings more than 35 years of experience in New Hampshire public education, having served as a teacher, principal, director of curriculum, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Throughout his distinguished career, he has also mentored principals and new superintendents across New Hampshire and Massachusetts. 

From 1998 to 2004, he served as both a teacher and administrator at Kingswood Regional High School. His familiarity with the district and its communities, combined with his commitment to student achievement and organizational excellence, positions him well to serve in this important interim role. He is widely recognized as a collaborative and thoughtful leader, a skilled communicator, and a strong advocate for professional capacity-building and student learning.

The District is excited to work with Scott during this transitional period to build upon the strengths, values, and culture that the Governor Wentworth and Middleton communities have long valued and supported in their schools.
